Lindsay Crook
Co-Founder & NFLPA Certified Agent
Lindsay Crook is a Co-Founder of ASCEND ATHLETICS and manages our Analytics Department and the Cincinnati office.
Lindsay has previously worked for industry leaders in business intelligence and analytics. He has advised numerous teams, companies and players on current industry best practices.
Originally from the Gold Coast, Australia, Lindsay played professional Rugby for three (3) years prior to coming to the United States. During that time, he had the honor of being selected to represent his country as a member of Australia’s Sevens Rugby National Team. Lindsay had the opportunity to play in front of crowds as large as 80,000 all over the world, including the United Kingdom, China, Dubai, Hong Kong, South Africa and throughout Australia. Lindsay also played for Brumbies Rugby and Austrialia’s U20 National Team.
Growing up in Australia, Lindsay was fascinated with the game of football and the National Football League. So much that he declined an opportunity to play for Australia in the 2016 Olympic Games to come to the United States and pursue his College Football career. Based upon his tremendous successes in rugby, his speed, size, and versatility, the University of Cincinnati offered him a scholarship, where he played Tight End for the Bearcats.
Following graduation, Lindsay completed his graduate studies, earning a Masters of Business Administration degree from UC’s Carl H. Linder College of Business.
Lindsay has since made Cincinnati his home, where he lives with his beautiful Wife, Lauren and son Phoenix.
As a Co-Founder of ASCEND ATHLETICS, Randy Fisher overseas legal operations and manages our Indianapolis office. Randy is responsible for handling a wide variety of legal matters for the Agency’s NFL Clients including contract negotiations, marketing and sponsorship negotiations, fine appeals and grievances, LLC formation, business due diligence, intellectual property protection, commercial litigation, and personal legal matters for clients and their families.
Our players benefit from Randy’s professional and systematic approach to athlete representation. Randy is known for his remarkable ability to construct and negotiate complex, comprehensive agreements for his players and a willingness to be an aggressive advocate on their behalf. A former College Football player, Randy has established and maintains significant relationships with coaches, scouts, front office staff, administrators, and trainers throughout College Football and the National Football League. Randy’s relentless competitive drive provides our players with unparalleled support and personal contact that enables each of them to maximize their opportunities both on and off the field.
Growing up in Ohio, the birthplace of professional football, Randy later attended Valparaiso University and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in 2000–and from Valparaiso University School of Law with a Juris Doctor in 2003. While at Valpo, he lettered three years and started at Defensive Line for the Crusaders Football team. Following his senior year, Randy was given the University’s Outstanding Leadership and Service Award and the Male Athlete Leadership Award.
Randy lives in Carmel, Indiana with his beautiful Wife, Amy and their energetic, high-spirited children, Alexandria and Vaughn.

Pat VanHall
Partner & NFLPA Certified Agent
As a Partner of ASCEND ATHLETICS, Pat VanHall manages our Los Angeles office and spearheads our West Coast Operations. Having worked in the sports and entertainment industry for the last decade, Pat has an extensive professional resume highlighted by working for in-house counsel and business and legal affairs departments of major entertainment entities. Having both a marketing and legal background, Pat helps our clients with a variety of off-the-field issues using his contract/negotiation acumen to get the best possible outcome for our clients. As a former D1 NCAA athlete, Pat‘s competitive and tireless work ethic provides our clients with unparalleled support.
Originally from New York, Pat earned a D1 scholarship to play lacrosse at Marist College where he was a team captain and a member of the school’s first conference championship team in program history. After graduating with honors from Marist, Pat worked for one of the larger law firms in New York City before heading back to law school, earning a merit scholarship from The Elizabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. Pat went on to graduate law school with honors and he worked for the Intellectual Property and Entertainment practice groups of one of the oldest law firms in the world (Freshfields) as a summer associate. Pat then went on to gain additional experience in the legal world of sports and entertainment working for in-house counsel of World Wrestling Entertainment and LG Electronics on a wide range of contract, copyright and trademark infringement cases. He then got his start in athlete representation while working for a larger sports agency based in New York City.
Pat has been a NFLPA certified contract advisor since 2016 and is admitted in good standing to the New York State Bar. He currently lives in Manhattan Beach, with his fiance, Jenna.
